Seaweed of culture, it was introduced in Brittany (France) at the end of the 20th century, when it is cultivated, in still limited quantities. The wakame is a seaweed high-fiber, in particular soluble. It is very rich in calcium (1300mg / 100gr ), more of ten times the content in calcium of the milk, which contains only 119mg / 100gr, and which furthermore is badly absorbed in the body. The wakame contains so a lot thiamine, niacine and vitamin B12
